Use the less hectic pace of remote learning to allow your family to sleep in. It builds your immune system and keeps your body healthy. The more sleep you get, the easier it is to focus during the day and get important things done. Not to mention everyone will be in a better mood when they have enough rest!
Many families include exercise in their Key Habits for good reason! Right now it’s so important to get your family moving. Exercise builds up the immune system and it’s good for the mind! Movement reduces anxiety, helps with focus, and reduces depression.Take your loved ones outside if you can. Seeing other people (from a safe distance) will remind you that you are not alone. It is the perfect opportunity to build the healthy habits you might have not had the time to before.
Tonight at dinner, ask you family,
"When are we at our best?"
Because you can't get to your best if you don't know what that is.
The first step in living the life you want is getting clear about how you want to live!

Lists are one of the easiest & most helpful things you can do right now. They lessen anxiety about the chaos of life, they provide structure, & they are a plan that you can stick to. Maybe you want to use your time to finish up all those things you’ve been trying to get to, tackle a brand new project, or simply create more memories. Either way, this is the time to do it - before life resumes & that schedule fills up. We suggest creating a spring bucket list. Click here for a free customized digital download!
Do something creative. You finally have the time to try something you have always wanted to try. Cook a new recipe. Learn how to draw. Paint something in your house. It might get messy. It might not come out how you want. But being creative is meditative which is so helpful during this stressful time.
Take it easy on yourself and your family. Having compassion for ourselves will allow space for ALL the feelings that are going on right now. Show yourself and those you love warmth and kindness for all you are going through. Don’t judge the feelings, just allow them.
Communication is always key!
Have a discussion about what the biggest challenges in the days to come might be. Talk about the strengths you each have as individual family members and how you can best help each other through this time.
